Orthox Ltd. has been incorporated to commercialise the biomaterials outputs of the SilkBone project. Orthox will develop cartilage and bone repair materials, with a primary focus on addressing repair of the meniscal cartilage in the knee, from the high strength absorbable silk scaffolds developed on the SilkBone project.
